A massive night club, Sandbar has the largest outside patio of any club in the county, cozy VIP area, and in years past, has booked some of the best live talent, including The Crystal Method. Sandbar also brought back the sand volleyball court from 10 years ago, something that we hope will stick. |

Marilyn's
908 K Street
Sacramento, CA
Terrible website, cool club.
Marilyn's used to be the watering hole for the capitol crowd (State Capitol, that is), but they moved a few blocks up on K, installed a larger stage and as redesigned their whole look. What used to be mainly a drinker's bar, is now something a little different offering clubbers seeking live music and dancing a new spot on the block. Local blues "boy" Jackie Greene made his name playing this joint first back when he wasn't even old enough to buy a beer.
