MOS DEF came to UC Davis and although he was over an hour late and the crowd got a little rambunctious waiting, nothing got out of hand. Some fool MC grabbed a mic and told the crowd to go home. He left the stage after being bood and crumpled paper cups flew upon him. Okay guy, sit down, nobody paid $30.00 to hear you anyway.

When MOS appeared, he told the crowd, "What you gonna do Saturday morning anyway? Stick around and tell all your friends you were at the MOS DEF show Friday night." And then he got his groove on and set the table for a night of delicious hip hop.

Although hailing from Brooklyn, the "Boogie Man" gave big props to the West Coast throughout the show even threw up the W and encouraged the crowd to follow suit. They did. A solid act with supreme flowing lyrics, few in the industry have the skills and nobody has the style of the one and only MOS DEF.
